Hammersmith and Fulham council (our landlords) are planning to fill Ginglik in with concrete in March '08 due to the redevelopment of Shepherds Bush Common. Go to for more details Since the announcement of the proposed closure of Ginglik your emails and words of support have been flooding in. These are all so appreciated, thank you. We are asking for you to continue your support. We need you to fight with us to help save our venue… to help save your venue! On Saturday 20th September we will be holding a protest above Ginglik. We need to demonstrate what Ginglik means to us all. Local & National press have already shown their interest in supporting this cause and will be joining us in the fight on the day. Influential supporters have been invited to speak on the day and to show our gratitude we will be arranging a free BBQ and drinks for you as well as some quality live music. There will be placards with slogans on them for you to hold but by all means bring your own too. If you have a clever slogan but don't have the time to make your placard yourself then e-mail us your idea and we'll make it for you.
